Relocate to Vancouver

Vancouver is a beautiful and diverse Canadian city, which has the third most populous metro area in Canada (2.6 million people), as well as a strong economy and amazing views of the Pacific Ocean and the nearby North Shore Mountains.

Located on the west coast of Canada in the province of British Columbia, Vancouver has a population of around 662,000 residents.

As a major port city and Canada’s Gateway to the Pacific, Vancouver is a diverse city that is an attractive destination for immigrants from China, India, The Philippines, Latin America, Japan, South Korea, the Middle East, Africa (particularly Nigeria), along with other parts of the world.

Many immigrants are moving to Vancouver because it offers them a high quality of life.

For example, Vancouver has been ranked as the #1 city for quality of life in North America and also listed among the top 10 most livable cities in the world for several years in a row.

Vancouver is a great place to live in Canada.

Another reason that immigrants are relocating to Vancouver is because the metro area and the province of British Columbia have a strong economy which is creating thousands of new jobs.

Vancouver has a $1.2 billion CAD per year television and movie industry, as well as thriving construction, technology, trade, education and healthcare sectors.

Furthermore, British Columbia’s government predicts that over one million Canadian jobs will be produced in the province over a 10-year period, primarily in the Vancouver metro area.

This scenic seaside city is situated on the Burrard Peninsula, so there are great views of the water almost everywhere you go.

North of Vancouver are mountains that are snowcapped much of the year and forests that provide plenty of opportunities for hiking, picnics, bicycling, camping, snow skiing, snowboarding and other outdoor activities.

Of course, you don’t need to leave Vancouver to enjoy a nice day outside.

There are many parks throughout Vancouver, such as Stanley Park, Queen Elizabeth Park and the Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Park and Chinese Garden.

Vancouver also has beautiful beaches where you and your family  or friends can relax in the sunshine, including Kitsilano Beach, English Bay Beach, Third Beach, Jericho Beach (and park), and Spanish Banks Beach.

If you want to go out to eat, you will find plenty of restaurants to choose from in the Gastown area of downtown Vancouver.

In fact, Vancouver is known as the “culinary capital of Canada”.

All of this is just a “taste” of Vancouver, but if you really want to know this incredible  city, you will need to visit or better yet – relocate to Vancouver!
